Pain

Pain that keeps coming back to the same place is telling you something. We treat the pain and what sustains it.

  • Knees, hips, joint pain
  • Tendinitis that won’t heal
  • Chronic pain with no clear answer

Skin & scars

A scar that pulls or stays sensitive, skin that reacts to stress: local work combined with deeper treatment.

A whole-person approach

Why one treatment can help with several issues

Symptoms rarely come alone. Painful periods often go hand in hand with fatigue; long-term stress ends up affecting sleep and digestion. Chinese medicine looks at the whole picture, which is what makes it possible to address the root cause rather than chase each symptom.

Acupuncture complements conventional medicine: it does not replace a diagnosis or a treatment prescribed by your doctor.

Frequently asked questions

Before your first session

Is acupuncture covered by insurance?

The practice is RME and ASCA accredited, so sessions may be partly covered by your supplementary health insurance, depending on your policy.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the issue and how long you’ve had it. Closer follow-up at the start means appointments can then be spaced out. We agree on the pace together at your first consultation.

Do the needles hurt?

The needles are very fine, sterile and single-use. You may feel a slight sensation when they go in; after that, most patients relax deeply.

What if I’m already receiving medical treatment?

No problem: acupuncture works alongside conventional medicine, osteopathy or physiotherapy. Just let us know about any current treatment.

My condition isn’t listed

Give us a call: we’ll tell you honestly whether acupuncture can help, or whether you should see your doctor first.
